Library Hours: Monday to Thursday 10am-3pm, and Friday from 10am to 1pm. {besps}library|align=left|width=215|height=165|bgcol=adddf8{/besps} The resident library is located on the Ground Floor of Copernicus Lodge. It is staffed and operated by a group of dedicated, committed volunteers including 2 professional Librarians. The library houses over 7,000 Polish and English language books, movie videos and DVDs, magazines and periodicals. Daily and weekly Polish newspapers including, Głos Polski, Goniec, Gazeta Gazeta and Nasz Dziennik are also available. Every second month the library receives a collection of Polish Talking Books (on loan) from the Polish Association of the Blind (Polski Związek Niewidomych) which is located in Warsaw Poland. These books are shared not only with Copernicus Lodge residents but are also mailed to individuals across Canada and the United States who are visually impaired. Residents and families are invited to use the library computers which are equipped with internet access. Books (with the exception of rare and antique books) and video tapes may {besps}library|align=left|width=225|height=175|bgcol=adddf8{/besps} be taken out on loan by residents and non-residents. The volunteers of the Copernicus Lodge Library work jointly with the Toronto Public Library and Polish organizations to coordinate book presentations for residents & guests.
