Accountability Agreements

Service Accountability Agreements set out terms on which Ontario Health’s Integrated Network will provide funding to Copernicus Lodge (“the HSP” or Health Service Provider) and the performance obligations of Copernicus Lodge in return for that funding. These agreements promote continuous quality improvement and the efficient delivery of high-quality health services to all Ontarians and it reflects Ontario’s quality transformation agenda currently underway in the long-term care home and community services sector. The MSAA agreement is the agreement with respect the funding we receive to provide care and services through our Supportive Housing and Adult Day Programs, while the LSAA Agreement is specific to the funding related to our Long-Term Care Home.

Accessibility Commitment

Copernicus Lodge is committed to providing a barrier free environment and that all customers, employees, volunteers, job applicants, visitors, contractors who enter our premises and access our information and services are treated with respect and dignity. Copernicus Lodge abides by the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act and other related legislation. Copernicus Lodge has an Accessibility Program including policies and procedures to meet the requirements and associated timelines under Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
